The Bulkley Valley Wrestling Club (BVWC) gets its insurance from the British Columbia Wrestling Association (BCWA). Every member of the BVWC is required to purchase a membership ‘each year’ directly through the BCWA website.
Membership costs range from $15/year for recreational adults to $60/year for high school athletes. Included with the annual membership is accident insurance that will protect the club, coaches and athletes in case of an accident.
Coverage goes from September 1st until August 31st and all members must have their latest BCWA membership in place, prior to attending any practices, or they will not be permitted on the mats.
For children (12 and under) and adults (18+), when registering with BC Wrestling Association, please choose Bulkley Valley Wrestling Club.
When registering with BC Wrestling Association, high school students (Grade 8 to 12), need to choose Smithers Wrestling Club.
Smithers Wrestling Club is another branch of Bulkley Valley Wrestling Club.By registering with Smithers Wrestling Club, it allows high school student to participate in school events.
