BCWA Registration
The Bulkley Valley Wrestling Club (BVWC) obtains its insurance through the British Columbia Wrestling Association (BCWA). Each member of the BVWC is required to secure a BCWA membership ‘each year’ directly via the BCWA website.
Membership fees vary, starting at $15/year for recreational adults and going up to $60/year for high school athletes. This annual BCWA membership includes accident insurance, which safeguards the club, coaches, and athletes in the event of an accident.
The coverage period runs from September 1st to August 31st, and all members must have their current BCWA membership active before participating in any wrestling registration or practices; otherwise, they will not be allowed on the mats.
BCWA Registration- Children (12 years and under) and Adults
For children (12 and under) and adults (18+) registering for BCWA membership, please select Bulkley Valley Wrestling Club during the wrestling registration process.
BCWA Registration- High school Registration
When registering for BCWA membership, high school students (Grade 8 to 12) need to select the Smithers Wrestling Club. The Smithers Wrestling Club is a branch of Bulkley Valley Wrestling. By completing the wrestling registration with Smithers Wrestling Club, high school students gain the opportunity to participate in school events.
