Bio: Born and raised in Smithers, BC, Addison Bree developed a passion for combat sports early on, inspired by high school coaches Mike Richey and Don Roy. As a high school athlete, Addison quickly established himself as a force to be reckoned with, earning provincial and national medals and winning numerous tournaments. His success caught the attention of several universities, and he ultimately chose to continue his athletic career at the University of Alberta in Edmonton.
At the University of Alberta, Addison maintained his competitive edge, achieving top national rankings for seven consecutive years, consistently placing in the top 6 across Canada. A multiple-time finalist and medalist, he also competed internationally, further establishing his reputation.
In addition to his wrestling accomplishments, Addison competed in and won numerous No-Gi Jiu-Jitsu tournaments across Canada at the black belt/expert level. His coaching career spans all ages and skill levels, with expertise in wrestling, grappling, and MMA. Today, Addison serves as the head coach of Smithers Secondary Wrestling Team and Bulkley Valley Wrestling Club, where he continues to inspire and develop the next generation of athletes.
